Are you creative and adept at designing websites that are appealing to the eye while still being functional? As our UI developer intern, you would be working with back-end and web developers to ensure the smooth flow of the website for different platforms. In addition, you would also need to be proficient in HTML, JavaScript and CSS and work well in teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of fundamental design principles.
• Knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms is well appreciated.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Convert mock-ups into cross-browser HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates.
• Work alongside web developers to implement code.
• Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best practices.
• Ensure user experience determines design choices.
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability across various devices.
• Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout the design.
