We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join Mitsogo. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support and guidance across various aspects of our business operations.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contract Lifecycle Management: Draft, vet, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, software procurement agreements, vendor contracts, master service agreements and partnership agreements. Ensure alignment with company policies and advise management on legal and commercial risks associated with transactions.
• General Corporate and Commercial Advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance, commercial transactions, intellectual property issues, labor law, and statutory compliance.
• Legal Risk Assessment: Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risks associated with business operations, contractual agreements, data privacy, and intellectual property.
• Ensuring Legal Compliance: Stay updated with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Advise and train employees on legal matters, including data privacy, intellectual property, and contract management.
• Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and regulatory issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel to achieve favorable resolutions.
• Managing Data Privacy: Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant regulations.
• Manage Of Counsels: Serve as the primary point of contact for legal matters, both internally and externally. Coordinate with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.

Requirements:

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably in the technology industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical advice.
• Proven track record in managing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Concord or similar contract management platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
