We are looking for a creative, skilled UI developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI developer will work with back-end developers and web developers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented attractively.

To be successful as a UI developer you should have excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to this, you must work well in a team as there are several individuals involved in the development process.

Your responsibilities include

• Develop user interfaces for complex websites and applications.
• Work closely with UX designers, web developers, and other team members to deliver an overall seamless user experience.
• Convert mockups into cross-browser HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates.
• Work alongside web developers to implement code.
• Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best practices.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability across various devices.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

Skills we appreciate

• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries/frameworks like Angular JS, Ember JS, and React JS is well appreciated
• Knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms is well appreciated.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git/Mercurial
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills with an ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
